Austin Bruins News Release
Austin brought down the Bismarck Bobcats in back to back games this past weekend to stretch the win streak to seven games. The games served as the final contests before the Christmas break. Despite their victories, the Bruins weren't able to gain any ground in the Central Division as
Aberdeen also swept their series, maintaining a one point lead in the standings.
After a long, 10-day layoff, the Bruins will have to come back in prime form if they want to continue
their winning ways. Up first, it's three straight games against their divisional rivals, the Minnesota Wilderness. The Bruins have met the Wilderness twice this season with each team claiming a victory.
After the trio of games against the Wilderness, the Bruins will open the 2019 portion of their schedule with a home-and-home series against the NAHL's worst team, the Brookings Blizzard.
