The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Bruce Massey of the Cape Breton Highlanders has been named Player of the Week for the week ending November 25, 2018.

Massey, a 6'3" guard who played collegiately at Middle Tennessee State, also averaged a double-double for the Highlanders this week, averaging 26 points and 11 rebounds; he also averaged 6.5 assists in Cape Breton's two contests.

"This year, it seems that the Cape Breton Highlanders team is playing with a much more focused lineup," said NBL League Statistician Chuck Miller. "The Highlanders have started the season strongly, and Jamal Reynolds and Bruce Massey are two strong veterans who have helped lead the Sydney crew to the upper half of the standings."

The National Basketball League of Canada is also pleased to announce that Jamal Reynolds of the Cape Breton Highlanders has been named Canadian Player of the Week for the week ending November 25, 2018.

Reynolds, a 6'4" guard who played collegiately at Canisius (NY), averaged a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds in two Highlanders games this week, including a comeback victory over Kitchener-Waterloo.
