Kenai River Brown Bears News Release
The Brown Bears regrouped from Friday's loss and came out flying against the Tomahawks. The first period saw goals from Jack Gessert (Bouvet,Andrews) and Jack Gessert ( Bouvet, Jackstadt). The first period ended with the Bears leading 2-1. The second period the Bears took control and had goals from: Sam Carlson (Sardina, Nickles), Tanner Schachle (Solow, Kaszupski) Jack Gessert (Jackstadt,Bouvet). With the period ending 5-2 for the BEars. The Tomahawks roared back in the third on a hattrick from Zac Robins to force Overtime. The Brown Bears killed an early penalty in Overtime and then Jack Gessert scored his fourth of the game to win it (Chavez).
