Kenai River Brown Bears News Release

SOLDOTNA, AK - The Kenai River Brown Bears are excited to announce that forward Chase Sriprajittichai has signed a tender for the 2016-2017 season. This season, the California native served as team Captain for Gilmour Academy Prep of the Midwest Prep Hockey League.

Sriprajittichai has played in 55 games totaling 18 goals and 34 assists along with 24 PIM's and is +9 for the season. On signing a tender with Kenai River for next season, Chase stated "I am very thankful to the Kenai River Brown Bears for giving me this opportunity to play for such a great organization and I am looking forward to helping the team attain a successful season. I am excited and honored to be given the chance to play in such an elite junior hockey league with so much history and success of moving players onto the next level."

Scouting Director Rich Michalowski has tracked Sriprajittichai's development for three years as a member of the scouting staff of the USHL's Dubuque Fighting Saints. "Chase's strengths are his elite hockey sense and ability to create plays. He has excellent vision and knows how to use his teammates on the ice. Chase will need to transition to the rigors of our league but I am confident that he will do the necessary work in the off season to prepare. His best hockey is ahead of him and we are fortunate that he decided to bring his talents to our organization."
