TODAY'S STORYLINES:

Brigade close out regular season Saturday in D.C.

The Brigade (7-4) play their final game of the regular season next Saturday, July 7 at 3 p.m. at Capital One Arena, taking on the Washington Valor (1-10). The Brigade are 3-0 against their beltway rival this season. The game will be broadcast live on Monumental Sports Network, NBC Sports Washington, AFL Now and Facebook Watch.

Baltimore's path to the AFL's best record

With just one weekend to play and a three-way tie atop the league standings, a number of seeding scenarios are in play for the Brigade. To lock up the best regular season record in the AFL and a first-round matchup with the four-seed Washington Valor, Baltimore needs to defeat Washington on Saturday in addition to a Philadelphia win over Albany later that evening.

The Brigade lost, 49-48, to the Soul Saturday night at Wells Fargo Center. Brigade quarterback Randy Hippeard threw five touchdowns to four different receivers and added his fifth rushing touchdown of the season.
