Brigade back in Baltimore this Friday against Philadelphia
The Brigade (4-1) return home this weekend, hosting the Philadelphia Soul (3-2) on Friday, May 25 at 7 p.m. at Royal Farms Arena. The game will be broadcast live on Monumental Sports Network, AFL Now, Facebook Watch and NBC Sports Washington.
League leaders
After Baltimore's win in Washington on Saturday afternoon and a Philadelphia loss to the Albany Empire, the Brigade took over sole position of first place in the AFL standings. Philadelphia and Albany, each 3-2 on the season, trail the Brigade by one game.
Military offer
All attendees with a valid military ID will receive one complimentary, lower-level ticket with the purchase of one adult ticket. Complimentary military tickets are available on Friday only at the box office.
Brigade to host toiletry drive prior to Friday's game
The Brigade will host a toiletry drive prior to Friday night's game that will benefit the Weinberg Housing and Resource Center. Fans are encouraged to donate supplies including, but not limited to, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and razors.
Brigade top Valor in one-point road victory
The Brigade improved to 4-1, defeating the Washington Valor, 42-41, at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Brigade quarterback Randy Hippeard was named the game's MVP for his 213-yard, four-touchdown performance. Four wins matches the team's win total during the 2017 season.
"We did not start how we needed to but it's about how we finish," Brigade Head Coach Omarr Smith said after the game. "It was a good character win - we found a way to win the game."
