TODAY'S STORYLINES:
PRE-GAME YOUTH FOOTBALL CLINIC
Learn how to play with the Brigade before the game on June 28
The Baltimore Brigade will host their free Learn to Play Youth Football Clinic on Friday, June 28 from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. at Royal Farms Arena. Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. and the clinic will run from 2:30-3:30 p.m. with an autograph session immediately following.
Youth ages 6-14 are welcome to participate and will receive two free tickets to see the Brigade take on the Destroyers later that evening at 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided during the clinic. For more information and to register, please click here.

MARYLAND APPRECIATION NIGHT
Join the Brigade for Maryland Appreciation Night this Friday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m. The first 1,000 fans in Royal Farms Arena will receive a Maryland flag thunderstick.

The Baltimore Brigade (5-4) fell 42-35 to the Washington Valor (5-4) on Thursday night in Washington, D.C at Capital One Arena. The teams ended their first three quarters with tied scores, but Washington sealed their victory when wideout Josh Reese scored on a net recovery after a failed field goal attempt.
Brigade defensive back Nias Martin was named Defensive Player of the Game and tallied 12.5 tackles (10 solo), one of which went for a loss of two yards, a single game career high. Brigade quarterback Shane Boyd surpassed 500 career completed passes and finished the game with 19 passes for 184 yards and four touchdowns. Valor quarterback Arvell Nelson was named the Most Valuable Player of the Game and recorded a total of five touchdowns, four rushing.
JUSTIN LAWRENCE NAMED AFL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lawrence hauled in two sacks for a loss of 9 yards and one forced fumble in Week 8
The Arena Football League announced that Baltimore Brigade defensive lineman Justin Lawrence has been named Defensive Player of the Week for his Week 8 performance against the Columbus Destroyers.
Lawrence tallied two sacks for a total loss of nine yards and one forced fumble in Baltimore's 44-39 victory over the Columbus Destroyers on Saturday, June 15 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH. The Brigade leads the league in total sacks with 11 and Lawrence ranks second on the team and third in the league in sacks with 3.5.
This is Lawrence's eight season in the AFL and his second with the Brigade. This is the second consecutive week a Brigade player has been named AFL player of the week and the fourth total this season.

The Baltimore Brigade return home to Royal Farms Arena to take on the Columbus Destroyers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28. The next week will be the Brigade Bye Week.
