TEAMMATE TAKE: AFTER GAME TEN WIN
Defensive back Josh Victorian
On his game performance
"It wasn't just me out there. It's a whole defensive effort. We have the best front side in the league right now with guys like Nias Martin and Joe Powell. We all play our part and we did our thing today."
On Joe Hill's AFL touchdown streak
"It's huge and unheard of. Joe is really special. He not only shows up on gameday but he works hard every day of the week in practice. It really does rub off on the rest of us and motivates us to keep going."
Defensive back Joe Powell
On scoring as a kick returner
"I have to give it to my blockers, my guys have been blocking great for me. I've been telling the coaches all year to put the ball in my hands. Once I get the ball in my hands, I had to prove I can do something with it. All glory to God."
On Baltimore defensive backs
"This is what we do, we are honestly the best group in the league. We put in the work and we joke around, but the reason why we are so good is because we can ripe on each other, talk trash but we don't argue with each other or get into bad blood. We are a family."
Defensive back Nias Martin
On returning to Baltimore from road games
"We were focused. We had to give Albany everything we got, had to give Columbus everything we got. We had to keep fighting through the tough situations each and every game, but we kept going with the effort and intensity. I'm very happy to be back home in Baltimore."
Wide receiver Joe Hills
On Baltimore Defense
"Those guys really balled out. I mean the whole team was feeding from their energy and their momentum. Guys like Vic and Powell really held it down for us tonight."
