Bradenton 12 Wins Easily Over Daytona

Daytona Beach, FL - The Bradenton Marauders (55-49) never trailed while rolling to a 12-6 win over the Daytona Torgugas (55-47) on Saturday night at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. 3B Chase Simpson hit a three-run home run in the top of the first inning to set the pace and all nine Bradenton starters had at least one hit. RHP Austin Coley (W, 11-7) pitched six innings and struck out five. Cole yfinished strong by striking out each of the last four batters he faced. Daytona starter Keury Mella (L, 7-7) allowed 10 runs over 4 1/3 innings. Bradenton's RF Elvis Escobar drove in three runs and threw out a runner at the plate. SS Cole Tucker hit safely in three straight at-bats and collected three RBIs on the night. RHP Tanner Anderson recorded the final nine outs of the game to record his first same.
