Where: Bright-Landry Hockey Center (65 North Harvard Street, Boston, MA)
What: The National Women's Hockey League is the first professional league to pay women to play hockey. The 2015-16 season marks the inaugural campaign for this four team organization and has been covered worldwide.
This game features several Olympic-level players including two-time U.S. Olympians Hilary Knight, Gigi Marvin and Kacey Bellamy, not to mention Japanese sensation Nana Fujimoto.
More Details: New York picked up its first win in franchise history thanks to a power play goal in the third period by Bray Ketchum and Nana Fujimoto's 42 save performance in net. The Riveters goaltender also was named Player of the Week as a result. The Pride are led by NWHL scoring leaders Hilary Knight and Brianna Decker, who both have seven points. Decker missed last week's action due to an upper body injury.
