Boston Cannons News Release
BOSTON, MA - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) and the Boston Cannons have officially announced the 2019 MLL Schedule presented by Granite Telecommunications.
Starting post-Memorial Day, this new 16-game season (eight home, eight away) will be the first in the league's history, increased by two games from previous seasons. This change will give players more chances to compete and it will provide fans with additional opportunities to see their favorite players in action.
The Cannons will have eight home contests, which will include 2018 MLL Champion Denver Outlaws (June 29), rival New York Lizards (Aug 24), and the Dallas Rattlers (September 21). The season starts on June 1.
Other notes about the 2019 Schedule:
- June 1: Season/Home Opener vs Ohio Machine
- Longest Road-Trip: Two games (2x)
- Longest Homestand: Two games (2x)
- July 27: All-Star Game (Navy-Marine Corp Memorial Stadium, Annapolis, MD)
- September 21: Final Home game of 2019 vs Dallas Rattlers
- September 27-29: Championship Weekend (Location TBD)
