All-Time Series: 11-6

The Matchup:

The Cannons will pack up their bags after two straight home games and head west to face the Denver Outlaws (1-3). After picking up a win during the opening week of play against the Ohio Machine, the Outlaws have stumbled and lost three straight contests. The Cannons hold an 11-6 edge over the Denver Outlaws in all-time play. Boston looks to continue their string of success against Denver and to get back on the winning track.

Drew Snider of the Denver Outlaws, ranks tenth overall in the league with 12 points. Snider has proved to be an offensive threat, and will be a player that the Cannons need to be aware of on the field. Snider is coming off of a three goal performance against the Atlanta Blaze. Another offensive threat for the Outlaws is Michael Bocklet who has sixteen points through the first four games of the season.

The Cannons will aim to get back to winning after losing 14-7 to the Machine last weekend.

Turri Nets a Hat Trick:

Midfielder, Justin Turri led the Cannons in goals during the Week 5 game against the Ohio Machine. He finished off the night with a hat trick, including a two-point goal that came in the third quarter of the game. To this point in the season, Turri has six goals and two assists through the three games that he's played. He is ranked third for the Cannons in points with nine.

10 Goals in 5 Games for Emala:

Davey Emala secured the win for the Cannons during their stunning come from behind and overtime victory against the Rattlers in week 4. He has found his consistency this year, picking up where he left off last season. Through five games, Emala has tallied ten goals and had three goals in the contests against the Bayhawks and the Hounds. He is also the only player on Boston's roster to score in all five games.

Ryan Izzo First MLL Goal: Ryan Izzo scored his first professional goal at the MLL level in the Cannons loss to the Ohio Machine on May 21. Izzo's goal came 11 seconds into the second quarter, following a face- off win by Joe Nardella. The midfielder bounced the ball past the Ohio goaltender, Scott Rodgers going low stick side.

In 2015, Izzo graduated from UMass. Izzo was acquired by the Cannons on April 25th as part of a trade with the Ohio Machine.
