BOSTON, MA - It was a team effort as four different Boston players scored to lead the Breakers (5-8-7, 22 pts.) to a 4-1 victory over the New York Power (3-15-1, 10 pts.) on Sunday afternoon at Nickerson Field. Wiegmann and Hucles each scored a goal and an assist, while Kristine Lilly and Maren Meinert both tallied two assists on the afternoon.

Mellgren got the Breakers on the board in the fifth minute with her 11th goal of the season. Boston extended its lead to 2-0 in the 34th minute. Hucles registered her third goal of the season to score the Breakers' second goal of the match. From 40-yards out, Lilly dropped the ball to Meinert. Meinert then sent a through pass to Hucles. Hucles ran onto the pass from Meinert, getting past Power defender Christie Pearce.
