
Bombers to Host Youth Baseball Camps

Dubois County Bombers News Release
Huntingburg, IN, June 13, 2011. The Dubois County Bombers will host the first of four youth baseball camps this summer for various skill levels starting next Monday June 20th. Each camp is conducted by the Bomber coaching staff and several players and will provide 3 days of instruction and supervision in all phases of baseball. Camp duration is 3 hours per day and will promote the fun and enjoyment of baseball while helping participants improve their overall skill level.
The first three camps will consist of two basic Developmental Camps for ages 6-12 and one advanced Skills Camp for Ages 10-18. The camp dates are as follows:
Developmental Camp # 1 (Ages 6-12) - Mon June 20th thru Wed June 22nd
Skills Camp (Ages 10-18) - Thu June 23rd thru Sat June 25th
Developmental Camp # 2 (Ages 6-12) - Thu June 30th thru Sat July 2nd.
The fee for each camp is $60 per person and includes daily group and individual instruction on baseball fundamentals using drills, team play and game situations. Each participant will receive a Bombers Camp T-Shirt plus a ticket to a designated Bombers home game where they can run on the field with the Bombers for the National Anthem.
The final Bomber camp will be Wed July 20th thru Fri July 22nd for Grades 1-8 in conjunction with the Vincennes University Jasper Campus summer program.
All camps will be held at League Stadium in Huntingburg starting at 9:00 AM and ending at Noon.
