Bombers Playoff Opponent Set, Tickets Still Available
August 2, 2012 - Prospect League (Prospect)
Dubois County Bombers News Release
HUNGTINGBURG, Ind. - The Dubois County Bombers still have some excellent reserved seating - orange- and red-backed seats in the lower level - available for their August 7 Prospect League Western Divisional playoff game at League Stadium against the Terre Haute Rex.
The Rex have officially clinched the second half's best record in the Western Division, and this earns them the right to play the Bombers at League Stadium. A number of tickets have been sold to the Rex the team to distribute among its fans.
Bombers fans need to come out to make sure Terre Haute doesn't try to turn August 7 into any sort of "home" game by allowing Rex fans access to many of the remaining tickets.
Regular season ticket prices apply - eight dollars for red-backed seats, seven for orange-backed seats and five for general admission - and fans have the chance to purchase tickets to all three potential home playoff games for the price of two.
If the Bombers win August 7, they then travel to the Eastern Division winner August 9 for Game 1 of the Prospect League Championship Series before playing Game 2 at League Stadium August 11 and Game 3 August 12 (if necessary) at League Stadium as well.
So be sure to secure your own up-close view of Bombers playoff action while there are still reserved seats available. Call 812-683-3700 or visit the Bombers' office at League Stadium from noon to 5 p.m. to purchase tickets as the regular season draws to a close.
Speaking of the regular season, the Bombers have two home games remaining, and both feature fantastic deals.
Sunday, August 5, they play the Danville Dans at 6:15 p.m., and it is Family Night at League Stadium. Reserved seats are discounted two dollars, and general admission tickets are a dollar off.
Monday, August 6, is Fan Appreciation Night at League Stadium. General admission tickets cost one dollar, and reserved seats are only two dollars for the 7:15 p.m. game versus the Springfield Sliders, the Bombers regular season finale.
