
Bombers' Freymiller Named General Manager

The Dubois County Bombers are announcing the appointment of Gary Freymiller to the post of General Manager. Freymiller joined the Bombers last September as a part owner and Director of Marketing and Community Relations. Since then he has been active in many aspects of team operations, particularly working to establish a positive, ongoing local presence.
Bomber Principal Owner John Bigness commented on Freymiller's new role, "Gary's passion for running a successful collegiate summer baseball franchise is demonstrated with his relocation to Huntingburg and his commitment to reaching out and welcoming old and new friends to the Bombers. Our fans, sponsors, and host families can look forward with a sense of optimism and excitement as our season approaches."
Freymiller, a former college baseball player and volunteer coach at the high school and American Legion levels, holds degrees from Wheaton College (IL), and the University of Illinois. His background also includes 11 years in business development in the motor-sports industry, and experience working with Purdue University in rural economic development.
