(LONDON, ON) - The London Lightning donned purple jerseys for their annual Shine the Light night in partnership with the London Abused Women's Center, and picked up their 11th straight win over the Windsor Express 110-103.

London is now tied with the 2012-13 Lightning squad that started their season 11-0 before finishing the season 33-7 and winning the championship. While the Lightning are close to making history, they were far from perfect tonight.

Both teams started the game playing lockdown team defense and struggling to find the basket on the offensive end. London would take a small 17-15 lead after the first before putting together one of their best quarters of the season. The Lightning outscored the Express 38-17 in the second frame, scoring more points by themselves than both teams combined in the first quarter. London would lead 55-32 at the break.

Despite heading into the locker room with all the momentum, London's bad habits would rear their heads again and let the Express back into the game. Windsor would push all the way back from 22 points down and cut the lead to just 2 points in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter. The Express outscored London in both final quarters, but couldn't quite get over the hump, falling to the Bolts after Jaylon Tate would seal the victory with two key free-throws.

Cameron Forte added a team-high 25 points on the night to go along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals on his way to Player of the Game honours. Amir Williams set a defensive record last game and would have his best offensive game of the season against the Express scoring 21 points and collecting 11 rebounds. Jaylon Tate added 22 points and a game-high 9 assists while hitting two big free throws late to help seal the victory. Canadian Jermaine Haley rounded out the scoring with 10 points on the evening.

Windsor was once again lead by former MVP, Billy White who scored a game-high 30 points and pulled down 14 rebounds. Quinnel Brown, another former NBL Canada MVP added 26 points while Lance Tejada (14 points), Marcus Anderson (11 points) and Devonte' Pratt (10 points) scored in double-digits for the Express.
