EVANSVILLE, IN: The Evansville BlueCats of the United Indoor Football are excited to announce that they have received the Gold Award for "Best Local Sporting Event" from 2006 Evansville Courier & Press reader's choice poll. The BlueCats are coming off the best season in team history after advancing all the way to the UIF semi-finals in the 2006 season. The BlueCats also won this award in 2005.
The Evansville BlueCats owners, players, coaches, and staff would like to thank all of the loyal fans and citizens of the Tri-State area that have backed the 'Cats this season and made this award possible. The BlueCats look forward to your continued support as the team looks to make the 2007 season even better.
