Brevard Blue Ducks News Release
Melbourne, Florida â Teddy Dupay will be there, albeit in street clothes, as he starts the season on the injured reserved list. So will Brett Nelson, Kenyon Weaks and Brent Wright. It will be a Florida Gator reunion at the Brevard Blue Ducks first home game of the season.
"We're really happy not only to have their talent," remarked Ducks head coach, Robert Reid. "But they should bring some good chemistry as well."
Reid should know something about team chemistry, having played 14 years in the NBA, primarily with a Houston Rockets team that boasted centers Moses Malone and Hakeem Olajuwan â a team Reid reached the NBA finals with twice.
Similar to the 2000 Gators squad that reached the NCAA championship game.
"That's the one thing we have in common," said Reid. We've been to the very top and didn't come away with the ring. We're all aiming to change that this year."
The Blue Ducks begin their third season of action at the Clemente Center tonight (Thursday) at 7:00 PM against the Florence Flyers. Tickets will be available at the box office. For more information, call (321) 751-BLUE or visit their website at www.BrevardBlueDucks.com.

(University of Tennessee), SG â Don Carlisle, 6-6, 225 lbs. (IUPUI), SF â Nat Burton, 6-5, 220 lbs. (Georgetown University), PF â Robert Brown, 6-5, 225 lbs.
