Brevard Blue Ducks News Release

Melbourne, Florida – The Brevard Blue Ducks are almost all sold out of tickets for the Harlem Globetrotters game next month, but for a limited time only, tickets for the March 8th event to be held in the Clemente Center at Florida Tech, will be available at Space Coast Credit Unions throughout Brevard. The Burger King sponsored event is part of the Globetrotters’ 2004 worldwide tour and is set to tip off at 7:00 PM.

“We are proud to offer basketball fans in Brevard County tickets through our long standing Blue Ducks partner,” said Brevard Blue Ducks owner, Mike Richman, who’s hosting the Globetrotters on their visit to Brevard.

Lower level general admission tickets will be available at all Brevard S.C.C.U. locations for $15 and will go on sale immediately. They will be offered through the end of the month, or until the tickets run out.

The Blue Ducks, who will begin their third season at Florida Tech in April, are a member of the United States Basketball League (USBL), which serves as a minor league to the NBA. In its 18-year existence, over 140 players have graduated from the USBL to the NBA. Stars such as Avery Johnson, Spud Webb, Monute Bol, Mugsy Bouges, Chris Childs, Anthony Mason and Darrell Armstrong all got their start in the USBL.
