Blue Chicks to appear in Rockledge this weekend

Melbourne, FL â The Brevard Blue Chicks â dance squad for the Brevard Blue Ducks basketball team - will be assisting animals of a different sort this weekend, as they lend their support to Harmony Farms in Rockledge.
Harmony Farms is a non-profitable charitable organization that provides horse-related activities to disabled persons of all ages, allowing individuals with all types of disabilities to work with and ride horses as part of a therapeutic program. This has proven to provide physical, mental and emotional benefits to its program's participants.
The Blue Chicks, who perform community service work throughout the year, will visit on Saturday, April 23rd and assist with the riders, help with barn chores and groom horses.
On Sunday, Harmony Farms will hold its Spring Open Fun Horse Show at Wickham Park. The show will feature classes in Equitation, Showmanship Western & English pleasure riding as well as several game classes, a costume class and Tot leadline. The event is free to spectators. A concession stand will be available. Class fees are $8 per class or $35 for the day. Registration starts at 8:00 AM; first class begins at 9:00 AM. Sponsorships are available for $15 per class. DUCK NOTES:
The Blue Ducks will once again play their games this season at the Clemente Center on the campus of Florida Tech in Melbourne. Tickets will go on sale as soon as a schedule is released. Season tickets for all Blue Ducks home games, 5-game flex-packs and individual game tickets will be available.
