Bloomington, IL, April 18, 2015 - The Bloomington Edge will host the Corpus Christi Fury at 7:00 pm at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum.  The Bloomington Edge are coming back home after coming off a tough loss on the road.  After a tough played second half by Bloomington after being down by 12 points at halftime, Bloomington's quarterback David Tomis, threw a touchdown pass to Marcus Lewis with 5 seconds remaining in the game to take a 1 point led over the Attack.  Bloomington just fell short after a 41-yard field goal by St. Louis Attack's kicker with only 1 second left on the clock.  Bloomington looks to bounce back into the win column this Saturday night when they host the Fury. It is fan appreciation night, get end zone tickets for $9.00. Be the 9th Fan and come support the Edge in a X-league Battle vs the Corpus Christi (Texas) Fury. The Bloomington Edge have expanded into the youth. Â The Edge 4 Kids youth football league consist of 6 teams, divided into 3 divisions. Â The Edge 4 Kids league will hold their first game this Saturday night April 18, 2015 starting at 10:00 am. Â The Knockers will take on the Bloomington Edge Youth football team. Â The first game will be the 9&10 year old (peewee). Â The next game will be played by the 11&12 year olds (Juniors) at 11:30 am. Â The last game for the Youth Football League will be at 1:00 pm and the 7th and 8th graders will play that game. The cost to get into the game is $5 per person UNLESS you have a ticket for the Bloomington Edge game on April 18th.Come out and support the Bloomington Edge and the youth program starting at 10:00 am.
