The Bloomington Blaze, fueled by Mid-Illini Credit Union, continue a busy stretch of games with road trips to Moline and Independence before returning home on Saturday.

Friday, Feb. 8- @Quad City Mallards 9, Blaze 6
--The Blaze gave up the most-ever goals in a game and period (7 in 2nd period) in their fourth consecutive loss, the longest losing streak of the season.
Saturday, Feb. 9- @Blaze 3, Quad City Mallards 1
--The largest Blaze crowd of the season saw a solid effort with two goals from David Gilbert and the game-winner from Dan Barczuk, backed by 25 saves from Pier-Olivier Pelletier.
Sunday, Feb. 10- Missouri Mavericks 6, @Blaze 3
--The Mavericks scored the final four goals of the game and kept the Blaze off the scoreboard for the final 38:06.

Tuesday, Feb. 12, 7:05 p.m., iWireless Center- Blaze at Quad City Mallards
--The Mallards have won the last three meetings in Moline.
Friday, Feb. 15, 7:05 p.m., Independence Event Center- Blaze at Missouri Mavericks
--After demolishing the Mavericks early in the season at the IEC, the Blaze are 1-2-0 in that building and 2-5-0 overall this season against Missouri.
Saturday, Feb. 16, 7:05 p.m., U.S. Cellular Coliseum- Rapid City Rush at Blaze
--Carpets Plus Color Tile Hat Giveaway to first 1,500 fans
REMINDER: The game listed on original schedules for Sunday, Feb. 17 has been moved to Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7:05 p.m. due to the Luke Bryan concerts! Tickets dated Feb. 17 are good for Feb. 20 with no exchange needed. The Feb. 20 game is Scout Night with discounted admission of only $10 for adults and $6 for children, plus scout patches will be sold for $2 each.
Standings shuffle: The Blaze enter the final third of the Central Hockey League season with a record of 23-21-2 for 48 points in eighth place, but only four points behind the fourth-place teams including this week's opponent Missouri. In addition, Quad City is in ninth place only three points behind the Blaze. The top eight teams go on to the post-season.
Blaze anatomy: Forward Nicklas Lindberg was placed on 7-day IR Friday. Forward Leo Thomas has served three contests of a nine-game suspension from the CHL based on an SPHL suspension from this season. Forward Tom Boudreau returned to the team from a leave of absence on Saturday.
Lutes-ing and pillaging: Forward Brett Lutes joins the Blaze in a trade from Denver that sent rookie defenseman Michael Trebish to the Cutthroats. Lutes played for Blaze coach Brian Gratz during the past two seasons in Dayton. The ninth-year veteran has played 552 professional games with 168 goals, 297 assists and 465 points with 844 PIM. Lutes already has two goals and two assists in his first three games with the Blaze.
David Goal-bert: Since being reassigned to the Blaze from Rockford of the American Hockey League for the last three games, David Gilbert has registered five goals to lead the team in lamp-lighters for the weekend. The hot weekend pushed him to second on the team with 18 goals in his 35 games with the Blaze.
