
Blizzard Gain 3 Points in Weekend Series

The Blizzard traveled to Wisconsin this past weekend for a series against the Janesville Jets of the Midwest Division.
FRIDAY -
The game ended with a 5-3 victory for the Blizzard. Trailing 3-2 entereing into the third period, the Blizzard scored three goals to seal the win. Durment scored the game winner while Hakkarainen added the insurance goal; Valent, Jeszka and Rivard also scored for the Blizzard. Jeszka and Valent had three point nights. Gwillim made 37 saves for the victory in his Blizzard debut.
SATURDAY -
Blizzard forced overtime, but fell in overtime 4-3. Gamelin, Callahan, and Ford scored in regulation.
The team hosts Aberdeen this Wednesday, January 13th - puck set to drop at 7:30pm sharp.
