Blazers Tickets, Boot Camp and Dance Team Tryouts

BILL DAYE'S HIGH SCHOOL BOOT CAMP!

Cannons Head Coach Bill Daye and Cannons players will get you ready for your high school season! Bill Daye's High School Boot Camp is a position-specific individual skill and fitness training program to prepare for the season and maintain your competitive edge throughout the year. CATZ Sports will also be on hand to lead the fitness training curriculum.

BD's Boot Camp with take place on February 16-18, 2009, from 10am - 1pm each day. It will be held at Forekicks in Marlborough (219 Forest Street, Marlborough, MA 01752).

All high school freshman through seniors are invited.

The camp costs $180.

The Boston Blazers and Joslin Diabetes have teamed up for the Blazers game on February 7th. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold through the above link will go towards benefiting the Joslin Diabetes Center, and the research and awareness of diabetes.

The second annual Catamount Classic - Lacrosse For A Cure will be held at Thayer Academy's off-campus turf fields on October 11, 2009. The event, which raises money for testicular cancer, drew close to 2,000 fans and raised nearly $20,000 in the inaugural 2008 tournament. For more information, check out www.catamountclassic.com.

YOUTH BLOGGERS WANTED FOR CANNONS 2009 SEASON

Local Sports Website www.bostonsportsu18.com and the Cannons are looking for youth bloggers to report on the team for the 2009 season. Ideally, bloggers should be between the ages of 10 and 17 and be passionate about Lacrosse and the Cannons. The bloggers will be able to interview players, report on games from the Press Box and write weekly blogs about the team. No experience is necessary.
