Blaze Announce Training Camp, Exhibition Games

The Chicago Blaze are pleased to announce that training camp for the 2009 - 2010 season will begin on Monday October 12th at West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The week will conclude with a home and home exhibition game series with the Madison Ice Muskies starting October 16th in Madison. The Blaze will then host the Ice Muskies on Saturday October 17th at 7pm for a rematch in Rolling Meadows.

The Blaze will welcome 24 players (12 forwards, 8 defensemen and 4 goaltenders) for the 7 day camp. The team will hit the ice at 8 am for two hour ice sessions Monday through Wednesday followed by off ice testing and training to complete the days. Thursday will begin with team building activities followed by an on ice practice session at 11: 45 am. All ice times are open and free of charge to the public. Our fans can get their first look at this year's team; meet the players, coach and purchase season tickets or merchandise at the arena box office.

Exciting Blaze regular season play gets underway the following Saturday, October 24th as they play host to the Detroit Hitmen. Tickets and all Blaze merchandise are available on line at ChicagoBlazeHockey.com or TheAAHL.com.
