Blaze Add Versatility to Blue Line

The Bloomington Blaze, fueled by Mid-Illini Credit Union, have added a defenseman with offensive skills to the roster for the upcoming season.

Jesse Dudas (DOO-dus) is a veteran of three professional seasons, and spent part of the 2009- 10 campaign in Bloomington with other pro stops in Charlotte of the ECHL and Corpus Christi and Texas of the Central Hockey League. Dudas stands 6'2" and weighs 215 pounds and is a native of St. Albert, Alberta, a suburb of Edmonton.

"Jesse is a very skilled player who is capable of playing both forward and defense," said Blaze coach Brian Gratz. "His versatility will be very beneficial for our team as we compete this upcoming year."

The Blaze open their second season in the AA-level Central Hockey League on Friday, October 19 at 7:05 p.m. against the Rapid City Rush. The Blaze have extended the special Blaze Pass offer (season general admission vouchers for $99) through Friday afternoon.
