
Blake Bolden Signs with Boston Pride

Boston, MA - Blake Bolden has signed a contract with the Boston Pride for the 2016-17 season, General Manager Hayley Moore announced Monday. Bolden and the Pride agreed to terms on a one-year, $14,000 contract.
"Blake is fearless," said Moore. "Her commitment to this team and to continuing to improve her game is a huge asset. Not only is she an incredible athlete, but an excellent ambassador for our sport, and a key ingredient to our success next season."
Bolden scored 9 points (1g, 8a) in 18 regular season games with the Pride last year, and added 3 points (2g, 1a) in the playoffs. She was the third highest-scoring defenseman with Boston last season.
"Boston and the Pride are my home," said Bolden. "Last year's season was one of the best experiences I've had in my life, with some of the best people. I am so excited to pick up where we left off and continue this journey with the NWHL."
Restricted free agency began April 1 and lasted until April 30. Free agency began May 1 and lasts until July 31. The 2016 NWHL Draft is June 18.
