Black Hawks Put Season Ticket Holders "In the Game"
May 18, 2016 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
After the excitement of the Clark Cup playoffs, the Waterloo Black Hawks are already hard at work gearing up for next season. A month ago, the Black Hawks announced the new #OneThousandHawks season ticket holder campaign. The goal is to recognize our most loyal fans and remind them that they are part of a special group.
Today, the Black Hawks are excited to introduce a new element, which will bring the spirit of the Party Town faithful right into the game. For the 2016/17 season, a dasher board listing every season ticket holder's name will be installed behind the east goal - which the Hawks defend in the first and third periods - symbolizing the commitment Hawks fans have made to always stand behind the team. On the concourse, an enlarged version of the dasher board will be on display so ticket holders can come find their names.
"This idea is a unique way to make season ticket holders feel special," explained Black Hawks Vice President of Sales and Marketing Joe Greene. "These are the fans who are there every night giving us the league's strongest home ice advantage. It's a way to say thank you and recognize them for all their support."
This latest addition to the #OneThousandHawks campaign will be the first of its kind in the USHL. We are excited for this new opportunity to recognize our season ticket holders.
