Dakota Bucks News Release
A three-time Champions Indoor Football League coach and an Arena Football League veteran have been hired to complete the Bismarck Bucks staff for the 2018 season.
Head coach Richard Davis announced that Paco Martinez, who won three titles with the Wichita Force between 2014 and 2017, has been hired as offensive coordinator. Martinez turned down a number of other offers to join the Bismarck Bucks, crediting the community, the ownership group and the stability of the franchise as reasons for his decision.
Clay Harrell comes to the Bucks from the Cleveland Gladiators. He will coach the offensive and defensive lines and special teams. Prior to the Gladiators or the Arena Football League, Harrell coached with the Orlando Predators.
The Bucks are going through on-field workouts from 9:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday through Friday at the golf dome at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Bismarck. Practices are open to the media and the public. Coaches and players will be available to the media immediately following the conclusion of each practice.
The Bucks will conduct a preseason scrimmage on Saturday, February 25, at the Bismarck Event Center at 3 p.m. They open the regular season at home against the Kansas City Phantoms on March 9.
Season tickets are available now at www.bismarckbucks.com or by calling 701-595-0771.
