
Bindulis Named to 2015-16 All-NAHL Team

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) announced today the remainder of its awards for the 2015-16 season. The selections were based on performance during the 2015-16 regular season, as voted upon by the league's 22 head coaches. Rebels Captain and team Most Valuable Player Kristofers Bindulis was named to the 2015-16 All-NAHL Team. He was one of only two defensemen to receive the award.
Bindulis had an outstanding season. The left-hand shooting defenseman had 46 points on the year, which was fourth most on the team. He had 10 goals and 36 assists (tied for first on the team). He had a +13 +/- ratio. Early in the year he committed to Lake Superior State. Yesterday, Bindulis was name the East Division Most Valuable Player and Defensemen of the Year. He also received the Rebels MVP and best defenseman of the year awards.
