
Bighorns Defeated by Idaho Stampede in Preseason Game

BOISE, ID - The Reno Bighorns were defeated by the Idaho Stampede 158 to 135 in their first preseason game of the 2014-15 NBA D-League season.
The Bighorns were led by Ra'shad James' 23 points. Eric Moreland recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds while on assignment from the Sacramento Kings. David Stockton and Tajuan Porter each scored 21 points off the bench for Reno. The Bighorns shot 41 percent from the field and 27 percent from 3-point range.
Stampede forward Joel Wright led all scorers with 25 points. Forward Jack Cooley recorded a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Ryan Sypkens and Shane Gibson hit four 3-pointers each while adding 16 and 12 points respectively. Idaho shot 61 percent from the field, while shooting 12-26 from 3-point range.
The Bighorns tip-off the 2014-15 NBA D-League regular season on Friday, Nov. 14 at the Reno Events Center against the Iowa Energy at 7 p.m.
