Mississippi Surge fans can really get a piece of the action starting Friday, March 1, 2013 at 9 a.m. local time. At that time the Surge will be opening an on line store to sell the team's game worn jerseys. Fans can log on to www.mssurge.com to purchase the jersey of their favorite player for just $400.
The jerseys will include the Surge's white, blue, and maize (Friday night) jerseys. By clicking on the store, fans can select the color jersey and from the player of their choice. The jerseys will be sold on a first come, first purchase basis. Once a jersey has been purchased it will be removed from the on line store.
The Surge's regular merchandise stores set up at each home game will be buzzing this weekend when the team hosts Pensacola on Friday, and Columbus on Saturday. Season ticket holders will receive a 40 percent discount on their merchandise purchase.
All a season ticket holder has to do is present a driver's license (or other photo ID) at the merchandise stand to receive the 40 percent discount.
Discounts for children 12 and under, students, military personnel and casino employees are available at the MS Coast Coliseum box office.
