Bes at Battle of Bands

Mississippi Surge coach Jeff Bes has shown a keen eye for spotting hockey talent and on Wednesday night he will demonstrate his sharp ear for musical talent.
Bes will be one of the judges at the Hard Rock Cafe's Battle of the Bands starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night. Battle of the Bands takes place each Wednesday night in March at Hard Rock Cafe, with the final showdown taking place March 27.
This will be a lot of fun, Bes said. I know there are a lot of great bands here on the Coast, and I'm eager to hear them. And the Hard Rock Cafe is a great place to listen to live music.
Bes will be giving his musical opinions while also helping the Surge gear up for the important stretch run of the season. The Surge has four home games left starting this Thursday against Pensacola. The remaining home games are March 15th (St. Patrick's Day Jersey auction); March 22nd (Military Appreciation Night); and March 23rd (Fan Appreciation Night with several fan giveaways).
