
Ben Hollingsworth named to USL First Division Team of the Week

Charleston, SC. Charleston Battery forward Ben Hollingsworth has been named to the USL First Division team of the week following his goal in last Friday's 2-1 win versus the Seattle Sounders; Hollingsworth also led the Battery in shots (5) in the Battery's season-ending 1-0 Sunday night loss to the Virginia Beach Mariners.
A native of Mt Pleasant SC, Hollingsworth was a stand-out at the College of Charleston before joining the Battery. Hollingsworth was the recipient of three Charleston Battery Fan awards in 2005 earning the David Vaughn Award, the Newcomer of the Year Award and was voted Charleston Battery 2005 MVP.
