Bellingham Bells News Release

The Bellingham Bells are excited to announce that Stephanie Morrell has been promoted to the role of assistant general manager, effective immediately. Previously, Morrell served as the team's marketing director.

Morrell, a Western Washington University graduate and Bellingham resident of over 10 years, joined the Bells in October 2013.

"I'm really excited to expand my role within an organization that I am extremely proud to be a part of," Morrell said. "I'm very grateful to Nick [Caples, Bells general manager] and Eddie [Poplawski, Bells owner] for this opportunity, and to our coaching staff, game day employees and the entire Bells family for their continued support."

As assistant general manager, Morrell will work closely with General Manager Nick Caples on the day-to-day operations and management of the Bells, in addition to continuing to assist with efforts in sponsorship, marketing, promotions and community relations.

"Stephanie has done an incredible job in her first year with the Bells," said Caples. "Her role as marketing director asked that she wear a lot of different hats and she has exceeded our expectations across the board. The Bellingham Bells are without a doubt a better organization thanks to Stephanie's dedicated work."

"I look forward to working together to build on what was a very special 2014 season," Morrell said. "The Whatcom and Skagit County communities have really embraced the Bells and we are so fortunate to have such loyal fans. Our goal for next season, as always, is to find new and unique ways to enhance the Bells experience. We are already hard at work planning for 2015 and I am extremely excited for the year ahead."
