Bellingham Bells News Release

Stanford University's Gabe Cramer has been added to the 2014 Bellingham Bells pitching staff, the team announced today.

Cramer is a six-foot-two-inch right-handed pitcher from Santa Rosa, Calif. The four-year varsity starter at Santa Rosa High School struck out 49 hitters in 34.2 innings as a senior and was a 2012 Rawlings first team All-California Region selection. Cramer was also the 2012 Santa Rosa High Scholar Athlete of the Year and finished his prep career with a 4.23 grade point average.

In his sophomore campaign for the Cardinal in 2014, Cramer has made two relief appearances, limiting opponents to 2 hits.

"Gabe is an outstanding athlete who has had a lot of success in the athletic arena," said Bells general manager Nick Caples. "In addition to a stellar baseball resume, Gabe is also a natural leader who will be a great presence in the clubhouse all season. We are proud to have a great young man like Gabe in a Bells uniform this summer."
