June 10, 2007 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I) News Release
NEW YORK - Saturday night's game between the Dallas Desperados and New Orleans VooDoo, won 80-79 by Dallas, was the first in AFL history in which both quarterbacks accounted for 11 touchdowns each.
In a losing effort, VooDoo QB STEVE BELLISARI threw nine touchdown passes and rushed for two more. For the third time in his career, Desperados QB CLINT DOLEZEL tied the League's single-game passing TD record by throwing for 11 scores. It was the first time in League's 21-season history that two quarterbacks each accounted for 11 touchdowns in the same game.
