Bellingham Bells News Release
The Bellingham Bells are excited to announce the hiring of a new front office staff member. Ashley Ferns, a Western Washington University graduate, will join the Bells as the team's Marketing & Operations Coordinator at the beginning of the new year.
Ferns is a 2019 graduate of Oregon State University and a native of Klamath Falls, Ore. While at OSU, she was involved with the OSU Athletic Department, and also spent summers working with the Corvallis Knights and the San Francisco Giants.
"I could not be more thrilled to join the Bells family," Ferns said. "These next few months are going to be an exciting new transition for me, and I cannot wait to hit the ground running. I am looking forward to getting to know the community and helping the Bells toward having a successful season."
In her new role, Ferns will work with community relations, game day promotions and provide operational support for the front office. She will also assist with sponsorship and group event sales.
Ferns joins General Manager Stephanie Morrell and Sales & Marketing Coordinator Nate Anderson as the third full-time member of the front office staff.
"We are so excited that Ashley is joining our team," Bells GM Stephanie Morrell said. "She is passionate about providing local sports to the community, and she is thrilled to be joining our Bellingham community. She has proven success building community programs and I can't wait to work with her on ways we can continue to enhance the Bells brand in our wonderful community!"
