Beat Announces Schedule Change for Match Versus CyberRays

ATLANTA (February 17, 2003) - The Atlanta Beat today announced a change in the team's 2003 WUSA schedule. The match previously scheduled for Wednesday, June 11 versus the San Jose CyberRays has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 17 at 7 p.m.

The Beat's 2003 schedule features 11 home games at Herndon Stadium. Nine home games fall on Saturday, one on Sunday and one on a Wednesday night. The Beat's fan friendly schedule gives all sports fans the opportunity to enjoy the excitement of world class soccer and entertainment, with 10 games on the weekend and one on a weeknight.

The Beat's schedule is highlighted by two visits from Mia Hamm and the Washington Freedom, two visits from Brandi Chastain and the San Jose CyberRays and a visit each from the defending WUSA Champion Carolina Courage and the exciting Philadelphia Charge.

The Beat opens up at home on April 5, 2003, versus the New York Power.
