Bears Team up with Tomorrow Children's Fund

(Newark, N.J., Aug. 2. 2010) - The Newark Bears and the Tomorrow Children's Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center have partnered on a fundraising effort to benefit the group, which is geared towards families with children in treatment.
Friends of TCF and fans of the Bears are invited to Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium to cheer on their hometown team when Newark takes on their cross-state rival, the Somerset Patriots, this Saturday, August 7th at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are just $10, with $4 from each ticket going to benefit "Tomorrow Children's Fund". After the game, there will be a fireworks extravaganza, presented by July4Ever. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance through the Newark Bears website by logging onto www.newarkbears.com and clicking on the "tickets" icon on the top of the page (PROMO CODE: TCF).
Founded over 25 years ago by a group of committed parents, TCF's mission is to help parents with children battling cancer and serious blood disorders. TCF provides a warm, healthy and loving environment for children in treatment. In addition, the Tomorrow's Children's Fund offers an array of free activities and support services for the children and their loved ones. From play therapy and clowns and magicians for the kids to monthly patient outings, learning programs, and sibling support groups for the families, TCF is there to ease the suffering of children
and families on their long and difficult journey. All services are provided at no cost through
