In the bottom of the sixth, Florence kept the offense rolling with an RBI double from Garrett Broussard to score Hank Zeisler and tie the game. The Y'alls took a 4-3 lead on another wild pitch to bring home Broussard.

Logan Jones surrendered the lead in the seventh to tie it 4-4. Danny Heintz entered with a clean eighth inning to give Florence a chance in the bottom half. With two away and two runners on, Zach Beadle delivered the biggest hit of the night, a go-ahead two-run double to give Florence the 6-4 lead.
