
BayHawks to Host Three-Team Exhibition on November 19

Erie, Pennsylvania, Thursday, October 6 - The Erie BayHawks, presented by LECOM, announced today that Erie will host Eastern Conference foes Fort Wayne and Canton for a three-team pre-season exhibition at Penn State-Behrend's Junker Center on November 19 beginning at 6:30 pm.
The unique format will include each team playing an equivalent of a full game by facing each of the other two teams for two quarters apiece. Fans will also have the chance to meet the players and get autographs throughout the night.
"The three-team exhibition is something new that we think fans will really enjoy. It will be a fun way to tip-off the season and the environment at the Junker Center will allow fans to get up close and personal with the players," said BayHawks team president Matt Bresee.
All tickets for the exhibition are just $5.00 each and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Emmaus Soup Kitchen. Tickets for the event go on sale starting October 22 at the BayHawks offices, 110 East 8th Street, and for Behrend students at the Athletic Department office on campus.
The Junker Center doors open at 6 pm and Fort Wayne and Canton tip off at 6:30 pm with the following scheduled:
-Fort Wayne vs. Canton (two quarters)
-Erie vs. Fort Wayne (two quarters)
-Erie vs. Canton (two quarters)
The BayHawks' open the regular season on the road as they travel to Rio Grande Valley for two games, November 25 and 26. Erie's first regular season home game is set for Thursday, December 1 at 7 pm at the Tullio Arena when the BayHawks face the Maine Red Claws. Season tickets and group tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 814-790-5600.
