BayHawks Fall to Bulls

Erie, PA- The Erie BayHawks (6-15) fell to the Windy City Bulls (8-12) tonight at Erie Insurance Arena, 97-108.

The BayHawks and Bulls went back and forth for most of the first resulting in the BayHawks trailing five points at the end of the quarter. They rallied to take a two-point lead into the locker room at halftime by outscoring the Bulls 27-20 in the second quarter.

The Bulls went on a five-to-zero run to end the third quarter, as the BayHawks saw themselves down by 8 heading into the fourth quarter. The Bulls used a strong fourth quarter to power past the BayHawks shooting 40% from the field and 87% from the foul line. Rebounding hurt the BayHawks as they were outrebounded 38-54 on the game.

Anthony Brown had a game-high 26 points for the BayHawks to go with eight rebounds, and seven assists, while shooting four-of-four from three-point range. TJ Price added 17 points, while Gabe York, Kalin Lucas, and Cliff Alexander all chipped in with 12 points.

Alfonzo McKinnie and Aaron Thomas led the Bulls will 22 points apiece. Thomas Walkup had 16 points and nine assists.

The BayHawks return to action on Friday, January 13 in South Dakota when they take on the Sioux Falls Skyforce. The team returns to Erie Insurance Arena on Wednesday, January 25 against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Tickets are available at eriebayhawks.com or by calling 814-790-5600.
