BayBears to host used car giveaway

Mobile, Ala. â The Mobile BayBears will be hosting a used car giveaway Friday, May 9th during their game against the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx. Three cars will be given away: One car after the third, sixth, and ninth innings. The used car giveaway is benefiting the Waterfront Rescue Mission and First Priority. Fans can register to win one of the cars at Hank Aaron Stadium beginning at 6:00pm.
As with every Friday night home game at "The Hank," there will be a fireworks spectacular following the game. Also, a concert will follow the fireworks featuring local Christian artists Sin's Enemy and Unveiled.
The used car giveaway is not the only promotion at Hank Aaron Stadium during the BayBears eight-day homestand:
- Tuesday is half-price group night
- Wednesday is another business fan's special with game time slated for 11:35 am featuring 50-cent hotdogs
- Thursday night is "Thirsty Thursday" night with 50-cent drink specials
- Saturday night is glove giveaway night as the first 1,000 kids 12-and-under receive a free baseball glove
- Sunday, as always, is "Ice Cream Sunday," in which the first 1,000 fans receive free ice cream
- Monday night is "Guaranteed Win Night," either the BayBears win or every fan in attendance receives a free box seat ticket to Tuesday night's game
- The homestand concludes Tuesday night with another half-price group night.
