Charleston, SC. Single game tickets for the Charleston Battery's 2011 USL Pro season go on sale Tuesday morning (March 21) at 9 AM. The Charleston Battery is getting set to defend its 2010 USL Championship; the Battery's preseason preparations included a second-place finish in the Carolina Challenge Cup featuring Major League Soccer.
Single game tickets are available starting at just $10, the Battery plays 12 regular season home matches; all home games are played at Blackbaud Stadium, Daniel Island.
Fan's can also still purchase season tickets packages; there are a limited number of the exclusive Three Lions Club memberships still available.
The Battery kicks off its USL campaign on Saturday, April 9 with a 7:30 PM match versus long-time rival the Charlotte Eagles. The fun begins at 6 PM with $2 drafts until kick off, immediately following the game there will be a spectacular season opening fireworks display. Home Opener 2011 is presented by Blue Water Benefits and everyone in attendance will receive a complimentary Charleston Battery Schedule Cup.

Battery takes on Cougars in scrimmage
The Charleston Battery takes on the College of Charleston Cougars on Tuesday afternoon at Blackbaud Stadium in a preseason scrimmage; kick off is set for 3 PM. The game with the College is an annual tradition for the Charleston Battery. Goalkeeper Keith Wiggans is an assistant coach at C of C; the Charleston Battery preseason squad includes former Cougars defender Sean Flatley.
