
Battery sets winter schedule

Charleston Battery News Release
Charleston SC. The Charleston Battery is offering several programs this fall and winter for soccer players of all ages and abilities. In addition to the Fall Academy the Battery is once again offering a Tiny Tots afternoon program for children ages 4 - 6, an after-school soccer program for children ages 7 - 13, a 3 v 3 Championship Tournament and a Holiday Camp at the end of the year.
Charleston Battery Fall Academy
Now in its fifth year, the Charleston Battery Academy is aimed at
dedicated soccer players looking for an extended soccer program that
will allow them to develop and hone tactical and fundamental technical
skills. Academy students will be challenged at the highest levels by an
elite staff comprised entirely of current Charleston Battery players and
coaches including:
Mike Anhaeuser - Charleston Battery Head Coach
Daniel Allen - Charleston Battery Assistant Coach
All students receive a certificate of completion / evaluation. All Charleston Battery Academy sessions are held at Blackbaud Stadium and the Charleston Battery Practice Facility on Daniel Island, SC.
Dates: October 11 - December 13
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Cost: Cost: $200 per student (families sending more than one child
will receive a $25 discount for each additional child).
Charleston Battery Tiny Tots Camp
The Charleston Battery Tiny Tots Camp is a weekly hour-long session for
children aged 4 - 6. Campers will play soccer at the Charleston Battery
facility in a fun informative environment. Campers are welcome on a
drop-in basis.
Dates: Wednesdays, October 13-December 15
Time: 4:00 - 5:00 PM
Cost: $10 / session
Charleston Battery After-School Camp
The Charleston Battery After-School camp is offered as a weekly
after-school program for boys and girls ages 7 - 13 of all ability
levels. The program will emphasize fundamental techniques of soccer in a
fun, learning environment. Campers are welcome on a drop-in basis.
Dates: Wednesdays, October 13-December 15
Time: 3:30 - 5:00 PM
Cost: $15 / session
Charleston Battery 3 v 3 Winter Shootout
Don't miss the most exciting tournament of the season! All games are
played at Battery Practice Field and Blackbaud Stadium. Age Groups: U8
co-ed / U10 co-ed / U12 boys and girls / U14 boys and girls / U17 boys
and girls / Women's open / Men's Open/ Men's Over 35
Dates: December 4 - December 5
Cost: $150 (teams of 5)
Charleston Battery Holiday Camp
Based on the popular Charleston Battery Junior Day Camp, the Battery
Holiday Camp is offered as a week-long camp for boys and girls ages
7-13. The Holiday Camp is designed to develop the fundamental techniques
of soccer in a fun, learning environment.
Dates: December 29- December 31
Time: 9 am - 12 pm
Cost: $90
