Battery Back Home to Face Rochester Rhinos

Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery (6-2-0) returns to Blackbaud Stadium this Saturday, May 25 for a match against the Rochester Rhinos (1-6-1). Gates open at 6 PM with kick off set for 7:30 PM. Immediately following the game there will be a spectacular post-game FIREWORKS display!

Saturday night is Family Night, presented by Charleston Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Families can purchase Battery Family Packs for only $30; which includes four East Bleacher tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas ($68 value!). Additional Family passes can be purchased for $7.50 each.

The match against Rochester will mark the beginning of a four-game home stretch for Charleston. The Battery defeated the Houston Dynamo Reserves 1-0 last Sunday in their last USL PRO match and currently sit in 2nd place in the USL PRO standings.

The last game between the Club's was in the semifinal of the 2012 USL PRO playoffs with the Battery advancing via a penalty shoot-out.

USL Hall of Famer and Rhinos President Pat Ercoli, recently took over head coaching duties for the Rhinos. Ercoli led the team from 1996 to 2004 with much success including a US Open Cup title in 1999..

Charleston, SC. Tickets for the Charleston Battery's third round U.S. Open Cup clash with Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes are on sale now starting at just $10. The Battery advanced to the third round with a 1-0 road win over the Portland Timbers U23's; former Stratford High School standout Austin Savage scored the lone goal to lead the Battery into the third round.

Tickets are available starting at just $10 with discounts available for groups of ten or more. Season Ticket holders can purchase discounted tickets for the game; Three Lions Club members receive complimentary tickets to all U.S. Open Cup matches.
