The Hank Aaron Classic has become one of the premier high school baseball tournaments in Alabama. Normally, a 16-team tourney, this year's Hank Aaron Classic switches to 20 teams with each club getting to play at least one game at "The Hank." The idea for the tournament was formed in 1997 when Vigor High School coach Joe Toomey met with BayBears President/COO Bill Shanahan and expressed his desire for his team to play at Hank Aaron Stadium, now the Double-A home of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Tickets for each contest of the 12th Annual Hank Aaron High School Classic are four dollars and will be available at Hank Aaron Stadium's Baseball City Gift Shop. For more information, please contact the Mobile BayBears at (251) 479-BEAR or log on to www.mobilebaybears.com.
