ORLANDO, Fla. - The Osceola Ghostriders announce the hiring of General Manager Jordan Bartel, Assistant General Manager Brad Hobbs and Director of Sales Gary Smith.

"Being able to run a professional sports team is a dream come true,'' said Bartels, 32 "The integrity, professionalism and commitment of [owners] Dave Doebler and Dave Czech is what brought me here. Our owners have been active in this community for several years and are committed to the long term success of our franchise.

"We want everyone to know that we are here to stay and that we are dedicated to making the Osceola Ghostriders a strong community partner that everyone can be proud of," Bartles added.

Hobbs and Smith will provide crucial support with sales, community relations and marketing. "We have a great opportunity here with the combination of the first-class Silver Spurs Arena, plus the high-quality and professional organization that our owners have created," states Hobbs. "The potential here is significant," said Smith. "We will look to raise the bar for sports franchises and become a model organization for years to come."

The Ghostriders will compete in the newly formed World Indoor Football League (WIFL) and will play a fourteen game schedule. The Ghostriders will kick off the 2007 season in February, with all home games played on IOA Field at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee.
